Deputy Manager

Assist the Manager in delivering the highest standards of care; the Deputy Manager assists the Registered Manager in providing support and leadership to the staff. As part of a wider team of caring professionals, the Deputy Manager helps to ensure our clients receive the highest standard of care.

Among your duties as Deputy Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Help the Registered Manager define the roles of all staff and ensure they have adequate training and opportunity to request additional support if it is needed
  • Play a part in implementing financial strategies and managing budgets
  • Ensure all records are accurately kept and updated according to the most recent regulations.

When the Registered Manager is absent, the Deputy Manager takes overall managerial responsibility for the service.

The Deputy Manager is a highly responsible and a highly rewarding role that involves shaping the quality of care for a number of frail, elderly and infirm individuals.

It can be demanding, but you will receive adequate training and support to help you carry out the role to the best of your abilities.
