COVID-19 Update (March 13th 2020)

Our services are running as normal through the COVID-19 outbreak and we are doing all we can to minimise the risk of any infection.

All care workers have been reminded regarding correct infection control techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment as Government advice recommends these as the best preventative measure in dealing with COVID-19.

We are encouraging all to do the following:

  • Wash your Hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. This is particularly important after taking public transport.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the bin immediately and wash your hands.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

We are constantly being updated regarding the situation and will continue to inform service users and staff of any changes.
